We’ve just deployed a fix for accounts that were missing their Patron Time after this morning’s NA server maintenance. The kicker is that a fresh login is necessary to see the change (I know, this is a tall order given the lengthy server queues). Please note that only players on our North American servers who are missing their Patron Time should relog. The same maintenance will begin for players on our EU servers in about two hours. EDIT: This fix also restores Patron status to NA players who bought Patron Time before this morning’s maintenance and were missing it afterwards.

The Platform Team is working to make sure that all players who bought Patron Time by any means get it as quickly as possible.

UPDATE 4: 4:30 PM PDT (GMT-7) on Wednesday, September 17

We’re increasing the total capacity of our NA servers by another 10% across the board. Also, the maximum capacity of Kyprosa (EU) has been increased by 10% as well.

We’re increasing the total capacity of our NA servers by 10% across the board, pushing them to the capacity of our EU servers which have already received this increase.

The ArcheAge Team has been hard at work to address yesterday’s known issues

We will be applying a live fix to our service (right about now) to address the characters not appearing in the character selection screen. Deploying this live fix may cause some server lag while it’s being applied. We’ll let you know when it’s completed. EDIT: This live fix has been applied to our NA and EU servers!

The grace period for the server queue system has been doubled from five minutes to ten minutes on our NA servers. This change will be applied to our EU servers during their downtime tonight at 7:00 PM PDT (GMT-7). See our Server Status section for more details.

We have fixed the website store so that purchases of Patron Time are correctly applied to accounts. Players who purchased Patron Time before this fix will also get the duration they purchased today.

We’ve confirmed that this morning’s maintenance did apply Patron Time to players who should have it with the exception of a very small percentage of accounts. We’ll fixing those accounts today.

And there’s a pair of issues to add to this thread:

In the Marketplace, attempting to purchase a cart containing items that cost Credit and items that cost Loyalty Tokens will fail. Cart purchases are working when the items in it are of the same currency type.

Some of the housing descriptions have been incorrectly labeled: the Pumpkin Scarecrow region in north Mahadevi is shown as a Thatched Farmhouse region on the map and the Thatched Farmhouse region in Solis Headlands is shown as a Pumpkin Scarecrow region on the map. These labels will be corrected.

UPDATE 1: 12:00 PM PDT (GMT-7) on Wednesday, September 17

We ran a long maintenance window early this morning on our North American servers to address assorted issues with Patron Time and double the grace period of the server queue system. This work did remove Patron Time from players who hadn’t purchased it, but hasn’t returned Patron Time to all those who should have it. This is a priority fix for us and we’re actively working to restore missing Patron Time. The 7:00 PM PDT (GMT-7) maintenance on the EU servers is still scheduled to occur.

We’ve been keeping a close eye on the server populations as promised! To address the long queues, we’ve increased ArcheAge’s overall capacity by 20% through scaling up existing servers and adding new ones. This is on top of increasing overall capacity by 20% during Head Start as well. We can also confirm that the grace queue is working for players who are disconnected from the game and attempt to rejoin within five minutes. Finally, the Windscour Savannah issues experienced during Head Start on several servers have been fixed with this morning’s game update.

We’ve determined a set of known issues since launch began about three hours ago and the team is actively investigating the causes of the ones that continue to affect the game and our players.

Disappearing Characters

  • A bug is making some players‘ characters appear as missing. The characters are unaffected and have returned after a short wait and logging in again.

Missing Patron Status

  • Some players who purchased Patron time or a Starter Pack from the website are not receiving their Patron status in-game. This is due to a delivery error preventing the entitlement from applying to their account which will be addressed.

Non-Patron Players Getting Patron Status

  • We’ve seen the reports from non-Patrons saying they have Patron status in-game. This was not an intentional grant and will be reversed.

New Queue Visualization

  • The new queue visualization on the server selection page was a necessity as part of introducing the grace queue. Unfortunately, it does not show Patron versus general queues. The good news is that Patron queuing is granting the priority access it should to Patrons. We are working to update the visualization to show both queues and which the player is in.
