WildStar: Update der Entwickler vom 5. Oktober

Hey Everyone –

There’s not much change from my last status update – at least that would be externally visible to our players – we are however seeing changes internally with the realms and how they’re working.

As our realms continue to stabilize we are seeing a steady influx of players within the game. To continue to make sure that time in game is enjoyable we are continuing with periodic server restarts to help alleviate lag, and many players are seeing a noticeable difference.

We do know that queue times continue to be long for many, and OMGHime was able to give you an update on that today. We assure you that our priority is to get players onto Nexus and playing, and the reality is that while we continue to raise concurrency, the queues will continue – at least for a few more days.

All of that being said, we are saving your spot in the queue until you get to the front. So feel free to close the WildStar game client and come back later, or check out the queues on other realms. As long as you come back before you reach the front of the line, you’ll keep your same spot in the queue.

In regards to the character transfers busy prompt – it continues to be an issue but as I mentioned in my update, we’re pretty close to a potential fix and we’ll be addressing that shortly.

Thanks again for your patience; we’ll continue to keep you updated while we work to address these issues.

Thanks,

Team WildStar

We wanted to give a quick update on how the servers are doing. On Friday we added new realms to help reduce lag and get more players into the game. The good news is that it did what it was intended to, and we have an improved play experience, with more people able to be in-game at the same time. But we’re continuing to see extraordinary demand to play WildStar, and so we also realize some of you are waiting in some pretty lengthy queues.

While we’re hard at work increasing the number of players we can let into the game, and we’re making continual improvements that are allowing us to raise concurrency, due to the number of people looking to play we expect the queues to continue for a few more days.

Thanks as always for your patience and support. Stay tuned to @WildStarOps on Twitter for service updates.

Pro-tip: We save your spot in the queue until you get to the front. Feel free to close the client and come back, or check out the queues on other realms, and as long as you come back before you reach the front, you’ll have your same spot in line.[/wowquote]
